Should I make an appointment in advance?

Answer- Yes. It is important to make an appointment for grooming of your dogs to help minimize the time for your pet and you especially when it is busy.
We also highly recommend re-booking your pets next appointment before you leave to ensure that your pet stays on a regular grooming schedule as we fill up fast. We will do walk in appointments when we are able.

Are vaccines required for my dog?

Yes.  We do require all dogs to be current on their rabies vaccination since they are in an environment where there are multiple dogs present.

How often should I have my dog groomed?

It is recommended that your dog is groomed every 6-8 weeks to help keep the coat from matting. If they are going to be cut short, this is sometimes extended to 3 months.

My dog’s coat is matted now, will they need to be shaved?

Depending on the extent of the matting will determine what needs to be done. If it is minor, small ones can be easily removed. If the matting is Severe we normally would shave them with a #10 blade. We can in most cases keep their hair longer on the ears and tail, but each case varies.
